Flip a question mark on its head and you will see an image that resembles a fishhook. Questions hook ideas, opinions, intuitions, aspirations–you name it. A question mark doesn’t look as threatening and potentially lethal as a fishhook.
That’s unfortunate. It really should. Ask a stupid question, hook a stupid answer. The old adage – “there’s no such thing as a stupid question” – is sheer nonsense. Check out the some of these doozies or enter your own.
